Are you an active person who loves participating in sports and team-building activities? Do you feel called to teach individuals how to maintain a healthy lifestyle through fitness? A physical education major at Northwest prepares students to teach physical education courses at the elementary and secondary levels (kindergarten through 12th grade).
Education majors at Northwest gain profession-based learning experience in the Horace Mann Laboratory School on campus.
Faculty teach students how to implement lesson plans, create a positive classroom environment, communicate effectively and assess students' progress.
